    BLOCK_SIZE is the number of words written to flash in a single write using WRITECODE.

    It coresponds to the number of "Holding Registers" also called "Write Latches", which varies for each chip.

    The datasheet shows a diagram with 32 write latches, and the .pbpinc had BLOCK_SIZE 32.
    But the diagram was generic, and the chips only have 8 write latches.

    As you noted, this was corrected in PBP3 v3.0.5.x

    I saw on the new update of PBP 3.0.5 that was a correction regarding the BLOCK_SIZE of the 16(L)F1826 and 1827 chips.

    What is this and does it affect my programms on the specified chip I am using?
